Offering patients a new experience

Digital technology is opening the door to a host of new services: interactive screens providing targeted information, connected object machines, "click and collect" services in pharmacies, etc. Robotics, for its part, makes it possible to improve stock management and expiry date management, as well as saving time for patients.

These tools have a direct influence on the layout of the pharmacies, which we design from the outset with these new tools in mind.

The expansion and refurbishment of the Servais pharmacy in Mont-Saint-Pont is a prime example!

Organising space for greater comfort and service

The space is laid out to promote circulation through 4 main zones: Nature, Beauty, Babies & Toddlers, Men and a mini-Veterinary zone.

Improving traffic flow and product exposure.

The colours of the zones help to orientate patients.

In each zone, a brand and a range of products are highlighted by floor markings, canvases and coloured lighting, all of which are interchangeable depending on the brands on display.

The layout and furniture have been designed to increase the exhibition space.

Focus on digital technology and robotics

More advice and product information via 9 touch-screen displays and 2 window displays (in addition to the displays at each counter).

Welcome buttons on the shelves for calling an advisor.

Counters equipped with screens and an OTC area in an uncluttered style for a "lab" atmosphere.

We take care of everything

In addition to the design, PLUO's teams produced all the made-to-measure furniture and took charge of the complete management of the site and all those involved.

The pharmacy remained open throughout the works, which also involved extending and renovating the building.

A challenge made possible by the professionalism, flexibility and kindness of all the pharmacy staff!
